The Mysteries of Sorrows

May Our Lady give us a deeper understanding of suffering through the five Mysteries of Sorrow.

I. First Mystery ~~ Agony in the Garden
We pray for repentance
”Father, if you are willing take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done.”
Luke 22:42
Heavenly Father, as we offer you this mystery, we pray that we may feel sorrow for our sins, we pray for the conversion of the whole world. Teach us how to pray and to accept always your Divine Will. " Not my will Lord, but your Will be done. "

II. Second Mystery ~~ Scourging
We pray for overcoming the flesh
Heavenly Father, as we offer you this mystery, we pray that your grant us the graces of purity and chastity according to our state of life. We pray that you forgive us for the sins committed in our bodies which are your temple and we ask you to forgive us and to forgive the whole world.


III. Third Mystery ~~ Crowning with thorns
We pray for overcoming the world
Heavenly Father, as we offer you this mystery, we pray that you help us to overcome the materialism of our lives. We have been attached to so many temporal and visual things and we have neglected your call. Grant us to attach ourselves only to your Most Sacred Heart.

IV. Fourth Mystery ~~ Carrying of the cross
We pray for overcoming the evil
Heavenly Father, as we offer you this mystery, we pray that we may learn to accept your Holy Will and that we carry your cross daily. We pray that your give us Our Lady as our Cyrinean to help us carry the cross to Calvary.


V. Fifth Mystery ~~ Crucifixion
We pray for remaining crucified in imitation of Jesus
Heavenly Father, as we offer you this mystery, we come to Calvary with the crosses that you have given us in our sufferings, trials, misunderstandings, limitations and sicknesses. We pray that you accept our offering, as we crucify our will, our passions, our temptations from the world, the devil and the flesh. Unite us O Lord Jesus to your Most Precious Blood, have Mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy Mary , Mother of God , at thy feet I humbly kneel to offer thee a --Crown of Roses-- blood red roses , to remind thee of the passion of thy divine Son, with whom thou did fully partake in its bitterness--each rose recalling to thee a holy mystery; each ten bound together with my petition for a particular grace .
O Holy Queen dispenser of God's graces and Mother of all who invoke thee! Thou canst not look upon my gift and fail to see its binding.
As thou receive my gift,so wilt thou receive my petition; from thy bounty thou wilt give me the petition I so earnestly and trustingly seek .I despair of nothing that I ask of thee . Show thyself my mother . Amen

Friday ~~ Mysteries of Sorrows

May Our Lady will give us a deeper understanding of Patience through the five Mysteries of Sorrows
”As they led Jesus away they took hold of a certain Simon.” Luke 23:26
It had been a long, slow journey from his home in the country to Jerusalem, and Simon was tired at the end of it. Occupied with his own idle thoughts, he hardly noticed the stream of soldiers and citizens coming out through the city gate. But the soldiers noticed him. A moment later the astonished Simon found himself helping Jesus Christ carry His cross. Simon didn’t like it at all, but he did as he was told; and it was not long before God enlightened his soul.
Simon of Cyrene was the first to discover that the yoke of Christ is sweet, and His burden light. “Come to me when you are weary.”

May our Holy Mother of God give us a deeper understanding of new life in Christ and learn us to say always Yes to our Lord , through the five Glorious Mysteries .
She is the one who said “yes” to God and therefore allowed her will to be Gods’ Will.
This is such a difficult thing for us to do.
As human beings we get so busy with our lives and our desires that we often can’t determine what it is God would have us do .
Mary is our Mother through great Love of Jesus , her Divine Son and our Saviour. She waits for us to ask and receive her blessed presence in our lives. Then she willingly joins us in our struggle to see God’s Will.
She will help us learn to say “yes” to God.
Mary, thank you for receiving us like your lost children , take care and pray for all of us .

May Holy Immaculate Mother of God give us a deeper understanding of our privilege of Loving God through the five Joyful Mysteries .
Let start each day through an Act of Love

O my God!
I love Thee,
with my whole heart and soul,
and above all things,
because Thou art infinitely good and perfect,
and most worthy of all my love;
and for Thy sake,
I love my neighbour as myself.
Mercifully grant,
O my God!
that having loved Thee on earth,
I may love and enjoy Thee
for ever in Heaven. Amen

O my Divine Jesus,
how shall I return You thanks
for the goodness in giving Yourself to me?
The only way I can repay Your Love
is by loving You in return.
Yes, my Lord, I love You,
and I desire to love You all my life.

My Jesus, You alone are sufficient for me.
Whom shall I love,
if I love not You, my Jesus?
You love those who love You.
I love you.
Oh, do You also love me.
If I love You but little,
give me the love which You require of me.

O Mary, my good Mother,
and You glorious Saint Joseph,
lend me your love wherewith to love my Jesus.

Let us remember that a partial indulgence is granted to the faithful, who recite devoutly, according to any legitimate formula, the acts of the Theological Virtues ( Faith, Hope, Love~Charity) and of Contrition.
